Armstrong at Kentucky Speedway:

Dakoda will be making his eighth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Kentucky Speedway to go along with four prior starts in the Camping World Truck Series at the track.

Dakoda has a best XFINITY Series finish of 13th at the Sparta, Kentucky track which came during the 2013 season.

Dakoda finished 18th in both events at Kentucky Speedway last season.

Dakoda’s Thoughts on Kentucky Speedway:

“We are coming off two really good weeks which has given us a good amount of positive momentum here in the middle of the season.  It is important for us to continue to work hard and keep that momentum going.”

“Much like last year, we will be going to Kentucky as pretty much a new repave once again.  We were decent in the two races last year but continued to search for rear grip on the new surface.  If we can get a good level of grip in our practice sessions then I am confident we can keep this momentum going.”

Daytona Rewind:

For the second week in a row, New Castle, Indiana native Dakoda Armstrong scored a career best finish in NASCAR XFINITY Series competition.  In the rain delayed running of the Coca-Cola Firecracker 250, Armstrong muscled his No. 28 WinField United Toyota to a third-place finish at the 2.5-mile track in Daytona Beach, Florida.
