Armstrong at Kentucky Speedway: Dakoda will be making his sixth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Kentucky Speedway to go along with four prior starts in the Camping World Truck Series at the track.
Dakoda has a best XFINITY Series finish of 13th at the Sparta, Kentucky track which came during the 2013 season.
Dakoda’s Thoughts on Kentucky Speedway: “We really don’t know what to expect this weekend from the track with the repave as well as the new configuration in the corners. I am sure the track will have a lot of grip and the more rubber that gets laid down it will change throughout the weekend. We will need to utilize our practice sessions on Thursday and learn as much as we can for the race on Friday night.”
“Finally we have a little positive momentum going our way here the last few weeks and as we enter the long summer stretch we look to try to keep it going. Everyone continues to work hard on this JGL Racing team and that effort is very evident. “
Dakoda Armstrong is a fan of restrictor plate racing and has a solid background that reflects that. He backed that up on Friday night as he piloted his No. 28 Winfield Toyota to a season best 12th place finish in the running of the Subway Firecracker 250 at the Daytona International Speedway.
