Armstrong at Iowa Speedway:

Dakoda will be making his eighth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Iowa Speedway to go along with four prior starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and two in the ARCA Racing Series.

Armstrong has a best XFINITY Series finish of fifth at the Newton, Iowa track which he has captured each of his last two races (earlier this year and in this event last season).

Dakoda’s Thoughts on Iowa Speedway:

“The track at Iowa has become one of my favorites and the fifth place finishes our last two times there show that.  We had a very strong No. 28 WinField United Toyota in the earlier race this season at Iowa and I am confident my guys will give me another strong car this weekend.”

“We are in a good position in the points but another strong finish this weekend would help us even more.  The guys on this JGL Racing team keep grinding along in this long stretch of races and I look forward to a very successful weekend in Iowa.”

Indianapolis Rewind:

Not only is Indianapolis Motor Speedway one of the most iconic race tracks on the circuit, it is also the home track for Dakoda Armstrong.  On Saturday the New Castle, Indiana native would pilot his No. 28 WinField United Toyota to a 20th place finish in the running of the Lilly Diabetes 250 at the 2.5-mile track.
