Herring at Charlotte Motor Speedway:
Drew will be making his first career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Charlotte Motor Speedway.  The event will mark his 17th career start in the series and second one this season after piloting the No. 24 Toyota to a 14th place finish two weeks ago in Dover.

Drew’s Thoughts on Charlotte Motor Speedway:
“Really excited for the opportunity to get back behind the wheel of the JGL Racing No. 24 Toyota for the second race in a row.  I think all things considered, Dover was more than a successful weekend for all of us.  Having the chance to get back to the track with the team two races in a row allows us to work on what we started in Dover.”

“Our practice on Thursday will be my first laps around Charlotte Motor Speedway so it will be important for us to be on top of our game.  Thankfully the weather looks nice and similar to what race conditions will be on Saturday for the race.  So hopefully we can take advantage of all of our track time on Thursday to coninue to improve the car and be at our best heading into the race.”

Dover Rewind:
In his much anticipated return to NASCAR XFINITY Series action after almost a three year absence, Drew Herring reminded everyone that he is one of the best young talents in the sport.  The North Carolina native worked well with the JGL Racing team and quickly got his No. 24 Young Guns Toyota up to speed on his way to an impressive 14th-place finish in the running of the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet 200 at Dover International Speedway.
