• This was Dylan Lupton’s second NASCAR Xfinity Series start at Pocono Raceway.
• The No. 28’s best position of the event was 10th (Lap 60).
• Dylan avoided disaster on Lap 62 when two competitors wrecked directly in front of him.
• Lupton was running 20th late in the race when a right front tire failure forced him to make a quick trip down pit road and thus losing a few spots to the field in the closing laps
QUOTE “We battled all day today for sure. After our two practice sessions on Friday I thought we had us a pretty good No. 28 Fatal Clothing Ford Mustang for the 100-lap event on Saturday. Unfortunately, we fought a tight condition all day and that really hurt us coming off the corner and down the long straights here at Pocono – especially off Turn 3 and down the front.
“We did a good job missing the No. 7 and No. 20 wrecking there in front of us but bad luck struck us with just five laps to go when we had a right front tire failure and had to come down pit road.
“I appreciate all of the hard work from the guys on this JGL Racing team and I am confident it will start paying off for us soon.”
