Grala Leaving Bristol in Rearview Mirror Heading into Richmond Night Race

No. 24 NETTTS Ford Mustang

• This will be Kaz Grala’s first race at Richmond Raceway in any of NASCAR’s top-three series
• Grala has two previous starts at the 0.75-mile track in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, with a best start of fifth and a best finish of eighth (2015)
• The 19-year-old also competed in the 2013 Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown at Richmond
• Crew chief Shane Wilson has called 13 Xfinity Series races at Richmond and has two wins at the track (both with Kevin Harvick in 2006)
• This weekend’s race will only be Grala’s second race at a track under a mile in the Xfinity Series, but he has eight short-track starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, with a best finish of seventh (Martinsville, October of 2017)

“I haven’t raced at Richmond Raceway in a couple of years, but it was a place that I always loved in a K&N car, and even in a late model for the Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown. My crew chief Shane Wilson has always been really good at Richmond, so I have high hopes going into the weekend. It’s going to be fun.”
