Grala on Mission to Tame the Monster at Dover

No. 24 NETTTS Ford Mustang

• This will be Kaz Grala’s first NASCAR Xfinity Series start at Dover International Speedway
• The 19-year-old driver has two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at the Monster Mile, with one top five, two top 10s and a best finish of second (2017)
• Grala has also run two NASCAR K&N Pro Series East races at Dover, starting fifth in both events and earning a best finish of second (2014)
• The Boston native led eight laps and finished 12th in his only Xfinity Series start at a one-mile track this year (ISM Raceway), his best result in a non-superspeedway event
• In six NCWTS events at one-mile racetracks, Grala only finished outside of the top 10 once

“I would say Dover is historically my best track. I’ve had success there in K&N and Trucks, with second-place finishes in both series. It’s also the most fun oval of the year in my opinion, so I’ve been looking forward to this weekend’s race all season. JGL Racing has had speed there in the past, so I’m very optimistic going into the weekend. It’s going to be exciting.”

JGL Racing fields two entries in the NASCAR Xfinity Series as it continues its growth in the NASCAR arena. Led by successful entrepreneur James Whitener, the Denver, North Carolina-based team prides itself in its proven product both on and off the track. The team charged into the 2018 season with a manufacturer switch to Ford and a technical alliance with Roush Fenway Racing. 19-year-old racer Kaz Grala pilots the team’s No. 24 Ford Mustang, while Dylan Lupton will be behind the wheel of the No. 28 Ford Mustang for a majority of the season.
