Kaz Grala Hoping to Parlay Truck Series Success at 🎲 Las Vegas 🎲 into Xfinity Series

No. 24 NETTTS Ford Mustang

• Grala has one start at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, finishing fifth after starting from 14th in 2017.
• Las Vegas was Grala’s best race at a 1.5-mile track in the Truck Series. In nine NCWTS starts at intermediate tracks, Grala earned five top 10s and one top five, recording a best finish of fifth.
• Last week at Atlanta Motor Speedway was Grala’s first mile-and-a-half track start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. His top-15 day was derailed by a late-race battery issue.
• Grala currently sits ninth in the driver point standings and third in the Sunoco Rookie of the Year points.

“I feel really good about our intermediate track program here at JGL Racing. Atlanta was my first taste of a mile-and-a-half in these Xfinity cars, and not only did we have top-10 speed, but I had such a blast driving these cars. They’re much different than the trucks, but it didn’t seem to take long for me to adapt. I can build on my experience from Atlanta this weekend in Vegas, a track I have a top-five finish at already in the Truck Series.”

JGL Racing fields two entries in the NASCAR Xfinity Series as it continues its growth in the NASCAR arena. Led by successful entrepreneur James Whitener, the Denver, North Carolina-based team prides itself in its proven product both on and off the track. The team charged into the 2018 season with a manufacturer switch to Ford and a technical alliance with Roush Fenway Racing. 19-year-old racer Kaz Grala pilots the team’s No. 24 Ford Mustang, while Dylan Lupton will be behind the wheel of the No. 28 Ford Mustang for a majority of the season.
