“We battled all day today for sure. After our two practice sessions on Friday I thought we had us a pretty good No. 28 Fatal Clothing Ford Mustang for the 100-lap event on Saturday. Unfortunately, we fought a tight condition all day and that really hurt us coming off the corner and down the long straights here at Pocono – especially off Turn 3 and down the front.

“We did a good job missing the No. 7 and No. 20 wrecking there in front of us but bad luck struck us with just five laps to go when we had a right front tire failure and had to come down pit road.

“I appreciate all of the hard work from the guys on this JGL Racing team and I am confident it will start paying off for us soon.”

Led by successful entrepreneur James Whitener, the Denver, North Carolina-based team prides itself in its proven product both on and off the track. The team charged into the 2018 season with a manufacturer switch to Ford and a technical alliance with Roush Fenway Racing.
Dylan Lupton will be behind the wheel of the No. 28 Ford Mustang for a majority of the season.
